To mark World Environment Day, Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan International School proudly launched its Eco Club on June 22. Dr. M. Gunasekaran, principal scientist at S.S. Research Foundation, served as the chief guest. His presence and inspiring address emphasized the importance of environmental stewardship among young minds.
The inauguration ceremony began with the symbolic planting of saplings by Dr. Gunasekaran, setting a green tone for the club’s mission. The school’s principal, Mr. M. Somashekar, presided over the event, highlighting the school’s commitment to sustainability and ecological awareness.
