S.S.Research Foundation established as a non-profit organisation focuses on a unique multidisciplinary research activities and education to engage and influence strategy and practice in the conservation and management of natural resources, sustainable development in a social manner. It has committed to build an internationally competitive research capacity for the economic and social development of the country.
Mission
- To cultivate and promote science and technology through research in its all disciplines
- To produce interdisciplinary knowledge and create awareness for achieving environmental conservation and sustainable development and to enable the use of this knowledge by policy makers and society, and to train the next generation of scholars and leaders
- To discover and disseminate knowledge in Science through research and creative inquiry and learning, and to address problems affecting human health and welfare
- To publish numerous journal articles and books for receiving international recognition.

- To provide unbiased opportunities for scientific research to rural students and enhance their research skills
- To establish various research centres, departments and technical institutions for promoting, educating the public through research education in all areas specifically rural areas

- To increase public and government awareness and understanding of the benefits of national research and the important results from government funded projects

- To preserve pre-historic/historic sites for ethnic heritage protection
